Adding Links in Dreamweaver -- Other Web Sites

1. Have text in Dreamweaver.
2. Highlight the word or phrase that you want to use as a link.
3. Go to the website you want to link to.
4. Copy the web address (URL) from the top of the screen.
5. In Dreamweaver - the properties tab is on the bottom of the screen. On the right side of the properties bar, there is the word "Link" with a white rectangle next to it. Right click (with your mouse) and paste the web address (URL).
6. Save your site and preview in browser (the picture of the Earth) to see if the link works.
